Victory Center Ministries

Homeless and destitute during the summer of 1996, Pastor Rob Miltenberger was one of the many downtrodden men that have entered the Victory Center doors.  After getting out of prison, he found that life after incarceration was tough and he remained homeless for four years.  After a failed suicide attempt, Pastor Rob entered the Victory Center without much hope of changing his life.  It soon became apparent to Pastor Ray and the staff at the Victory Center that Rob had many gifts that would be useful to their ministry.  He was a leader and motivator; he had a knack of talking to the public and getting them to donate.  So he was a natural when it came to fundraising.  Pastor Rob went through every classwe offered, including Spiritual Recovery and INSTE, and became Pastor Ray Gimenez' right hand man.  For the first time since the Victory Center had been open, Pastor Ray was able to take a day off and know that the Victory Center would be well managed with Pastor Rob holding down the fort.

Now Pastor Rob is happily married with 4 children, and 2 grandchildren.  He is senior pastor at Erie Baptist Church and he has successfully channeled the Victory Center to fundraising opportunities the likes of which the Victory Center had never seen.  He has implemented an annual golf event; he is responsible for organizing the Great Thanksgiving Banquet and the Holiday Network Christmas toy and food give-away.  Pastor Rob is the founder of the Gateway Free Clinic, a medical service for people who cannot afford insurance or health care.  He is an important face in the Victory Center ministry and someone who has more energy than an army of men.  If given a chance, make sure to meet this amazing man and listen to his story in full.
